I got this
Video because she has these earring holes...as far as
I could tell from the pictures on eBay, I thought they
where not "fan" made. It looks factory made
at close inspection. The paint job on this doll is not
the best...kind of sloppy. I also noticed that the paint
job on the scalp was choppy. My first thought was it
was going to be a Minx doll, but no the scalp color
is the same as the rest of the Videos. So this doll
may have been a Kimber mold that got in the wrong pile
for paining, and produced as a Video.
Or maybe the 1988 Video and Danse where
going to get earrings, that would make sense because
some of the MATCHING
MEDLEY» FASHION ACCESSORIESwhere going to be
sold with earrings. These are just a few thoughts on
the origin of this doll.
I
noticed that the earring holes are smaller then the
other dolls, they would be cut smaller then the earrings
so the earrings don't fall out. After the earrings are
in place for many years, the holes retain the size of
the earring posts.

It is kind of hard to tell
here, but it has a sharp edge around the side, like
the Kimber. Which means it was cut out with a "O"
shaped blade and not pushed in with a pen.
