Some of the fashions from the Jem show are also similar to Glamour Gals fashions. As far as we know these show fashions where created by the artist at Sunbow, and not the fashion designers from Hasbro. So there should be no real connection, but you never know.

There are some elements in this fashion that are from Darci, and would have been used in Jem.
"Softey Suited" looks very similar to an unproduced Darci fashion, and the portfolio is similar to Darci's too.
Jem's Regine (1988) would have had a portfolio, and several of the Jem's Matching Medley Fashions (1988) would have been velvet with dye-cuts similar to Softey Suited.
