Production Order vs. Air Date vs. Air Date?

The Dates each JEM Show originally aired	Production Order vs. Air Date vs. Air Date?
2011 Re-airing on the Hub

Why are there different dates and different orders for the Jem show?

First there is the production number order, this basically is the ID number given to the episodes when they started production. This would be the best order to go with, because this was the planned order for the show. But then again, "Scandal" and "The Presidential Dilemma" are before "Talent Search." Talent Search introduces Raya and Jetta, so shouldn't be before Talent Search. My guess for this is these episodes may have been written before the addition of Raya and Jetta, and maybe after production started Sunbow decided they need to add them in. The other issue with the production order is the 1985 "Season 1" are listed as the 8th through the 12th episodes of "Season 2." But this is because those original episodes were too short to fit the length of a half hour episode. So after Sunbow started work on the first few "Jem" episodes they want back and added a few scenes to those episodes - at this point they got their official Jem production numbers.

The second order is the physical air date or publish date -- this is the date the show was original shown on. The order between the production number and air dates should be the same, but because the episodes were animated by different studios, or other animation/story factors, some episodes took longer to animate.

The third order is another set of air dates, but the site the posted them, does not have all the right dates. Some are the same, some are close, but most the dates seem to be off by over a year.
