Rumor: Hasbro revealed
prototypes of dolls to Investors during the Fall 2009
Investor Day -- for the new cartoon.
Jem was not mentioned during the web cast portion.
Hasbro stated some titles were not going to be talked
about to prevent competition, but the investors would
see them in development during the work through of
Hasbro.
Hasbro
was developing a New JEM line. The project was canceled
(I would assume for the Pussycat Dolls dolls, 2006 -
which was also canceled) There was rumored that Hasbro
is still planning for a 2007-2008. But that seems to
be just a rumor, it sounds like Jem is not in development
at the moment.
There was no sign of Jem at the 2007
Toy Fair. So more then likely Jem will not be back for
2007. But Hasbro is still updating the trademarks, for
dolls, books, etc. With any luck, we well see something
by 2011 for Jem's 25th Anniversary.

These new Hasbro dolls are a cross between Jem and Maxie,
but only stand about 3 inches tall. The story is they
are High School Seniors graduating soon ... the next set
graduate in 2005. The have similar facial features as
Bratz and My Scene Barbie.
Magenta Morgan™ has pink hair and
looks a lot like a Jem or Raya doll.
Georgina Griffith™ has lavender streaks in her
hair. She plays bass guitar in a 3 member band. One
other member has blonde hair and plays tambourine. I'm
not sure about the third member.
These dolls have body parts that come
a part so that you can change the fabric and plastic
clothing accessories with ease ... kinda scary!! :)
